Stereo-reality experience: this new reality is created by projections on reflecting glass walls with images transmitting every kinds of different content: information, culture but also interaction.
The Wind Lounge at Fiumicino airport in Rome is the implementation of the "stereo-reality" experience where individuals are taken out of the surrounding space context and brought into a new virtual reality. This new reality is created by projections on reflecting glass walls with images transmitting every kinds of different content: information, culture but also interaction.
In this space the streams of people and information join and integrate thanks to high technology projections on these transparent surfaces. The airport, which typically represents a place of exchange, becomes not only a place for waiting, but also a place to meet other people and cultures.
The lounge is a privileged space that provides multimedia services to the passengers with the aim to entertain and inform them about the latest world news, and getting them to access relevant information about their travels.
